RYS “SAIL PAST” REPORT
In blustery condition with 15-20 knot winds gusting to 25, we had 9 yachts who braved the windy morning conditions to  “Sail Past” the RYS safety boat. We had aspirations of a Davey’s Bay or Mornington Sail Past, however it was simply too windy to achieve this safely. All the sailors did remarkably well in the conditions with a number, Lawrence especially, who showed off their boat handling skills in the windy conditions.

NEXT WEEK AT RYS AND TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Next week is a bye at the RYS with everyone enjoying and hopefully winning on the Melbourne Cup long weekend. Starting on the 8th of November, we have the 1st week of our intensive RYS 5 Week Training Programme. There are still a few places left in the 5 week programme and the Kid’s Sail Programme was almost booked out by Sunday 25th October.

You can still download the registration forms from the downloads section or clicking this link.

Great Photos – it evens looks like the weather was good!
Thanks to Dominic for jumping in when needed and to Chris Watson and Pete Martin for helping with the Safety Boat – it was certainly well utilised throughout the day!
